Apple Smoked Sage

Ingredients
  

  • 2 sage leaves for smoking
  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1/2 oz apricot liqueur
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 3/4 oz sage honey syrup
  • 3/4 oz apple juice fresh
  • Handful of ice
  • Sage sprig for garnish

Method
 

  1. Smoke two sage leaves for a few minutes until thoroughly smoking then place a chilled glass upside down on top of them.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Add tequila, apricot liqueur, lemon juice, sage honey syrup, apple juice and half of the ice to a cocktail shaker.
  4. Shake well.
  5. Strain to smoked glass over the remaining ice.
  6. Garnish with sage leaves.
