Blood Orange Ramos Fizz

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Gin
  • ½ oz Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz Blood orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ¾ oz Heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ oz Vanilla bean simple syrup
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 Ice cubes
  • 4-6 oz Club soda
  • 1 Blood orange slice for garnish

Method
 

  1. Add gin, lime juice, blood orange juice, heavy whipping cream, simple syrup and egg white to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) for at least 3 minutes.
  3. Add ice cubes to the shaker.
  4. Shake until the ice is completely dissolved and you can’t hear them anymore.
  5. Strain into a chilled highball glass.
  6. Let it sit for about 60 seconds in the freezer.
  7. Place a straw in the middle of the drink.
  8. Pour the club soda down the side of the straw. You should get a nice foam on top!
  9. Garnish with a blood orange slice.
