dark rum

coffee liqueur
1 1/2
oz
fresh espresso
1/2-1
oz
chai tea simple syrup
(depending on how sweet you want it)
handful of ice
star anise
for garnish
Method
Add all ingredients aside from the star anise to a cocktail shaker.
Shake VERY well! The longer you shake an espresso martini, the better the foam will be!
Strain into chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with star anise.
