Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz dark rum
  • 1/2 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 1/2 oz fresh espresso
  • 1/2-1 oz chai tea simple syrup (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • handful of ice
  • star anise for garnish

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients aside from the star anise to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake VERY well! The longer you shake an espresso martini, the better the foam will be!
  3. Strain into chilled coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with star anise.
