Salted Honey Pistachio - Twist

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Pistachio simple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Crushed pistachios
  • 1 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1/4 oz Orange liqueur
  • 1 oz Grapefruit juice freshly squeezed
  • Handful of ice

Method
 

  1. Add 1/4 oz pistachio simple syrup to a small cup.
  2. Dip brush into pistachio syrup and brush onto side of a Nick & Nora glass.
  3. Dip into crushed pistachios.
  4. Place cocktail glass in freezer.
  5. Add Irish whiskey, orange liqueur, grapefruit juice and the rest (3/4 oz) of the pistachio simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. 
  6. Shake well.
  7. Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer. 
  8. Double strain cocktail into glass.
