Ingredients:

• 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream

• 1.5 oz vanilla simple syrup

• one carton blackberries

• 2 oz bourbon

• .5 oz lemon juice

• .75 oz cointreau

• ice

Instructions:

To make the whip:

1. add 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream and 2 tbsps of vanilla simple syrup to a bowl

2. whip until desired texture (about 2 minutes)

3. set aside

To make blackberry purée:

1. add one carton of blackberries to strainer

2. place strainer over a bowl and muddle blackberries

3. set purée aside

To make cocktail:

1. to a shaker add…

2. 2 oz bourbon

3. .5 oz lemon juice

4. .75 oz cointreau

5. .5 oz vanilla simple syrup

6. 3 oz blackberry purée

7. add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake with lid on

8. double strain into a rocks glass with ice

9. pour whipped cream over the back of the spoon to float on top
