Plum Sage Sipper

3-4 minutes (3 days to infuse plum), serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 plums (for infusing whiskey)

  • 1 cup whiskey (for infusing)

  • 2 oz plum infused whiskey

  • .5 oz sage simple syrup

  • .75 oz lemon juice

  • .5 oz amaro nonino

  • ice

  • 1 sage leaf

Instructions:

To Make Plum Infused Whiskey:

  1. add diced plums and whiskey to a jar

  2. seal jar and store in cool dark place for 3 days

  3. after 3 days, strain out plums

  4. set aside for cocktail and store the rest in sealed jar

To Make Cocktail:

  1. add plum infused whiskey, sage simple syrup, lemon juice and amaro nonino to a cocktail shaker

  2. shake with ice with lid on

  3. double strain into lowball glass over large ice cube

  4. garnish with sage leaf

  5. enjoy!!!!
